Terms of Service and General Conditions of Use
1. Introduction Welcome to Vauchr. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Our service allows you to discover and purchase vouchers for local deals, products, and services in Cameroon.
2. Vauchr as an Intermediary Vauchr acts as a digital marketplace. We facilitate transactions between Users and Partner Merchants. Please note that the Merchant, not Vauchr, is the seller of the goods or services and is solely responsible for honoring the voucher.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
Vauchr reserves the right to suspend any account suspected of fraudulent activity.
4. Purchases and Payments
Prices may be displayed in FCFA (XAF) or $ (USD) depending on your settings.
Payments are processed securely via local payment methods (Mobile Money) or international bank cards.
Once a purchase is confirmed, a unique digital voucher code will be generated for you.
5. Redemption and Validity Every voucher has specific conditions (expiry date, location, etc.) mentioned on the deal page. It is your responsibility to check these details before purchasing. Expired vouchers are non-refundable.
6. Refund Policy
Refunds are issued only if a Merchant refuses to honor a valid voucher or has ceased operations.
"Change of mind" refunds are not accepted once the voucher code has been accessed or displayed.
Issues regarding the quality of the service must be resolved directly with the Merchant.
7. User Conduct You agree not to use Vauchr for any illegal purposes, including the resale of vouchers or the use of automated systems to scrape data from the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability Vauchr is not liable for any indirect damages, loss of profits, or personal injury resulting from the use of a service provided by a Partner Merchant. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the voucher in question.
9. Privacy Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We use your information only to process your orders and improve our services.
10. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Douala.
